Hey everyone, welcome back! 😆😆

Quick recap: I’ve been at training camp since August 29th and today is my last day here in Gainesville, GA for a bit!
It has been absolutely incredible to be here, to wake up early every day and learn more about God. Some days are packed full of teachings and worship, some days are more focused on team building and growing together as a squad. But every day has been so wonderful in its own way!!

By no means is it easy. Sleeping out of a tent, showering with spiders, drinking hose water, constantly being dirty, and never looking my best isn’t my favorite way to live life. BUT I wouldn’t trade it for the world. Every little thing about training camp has a purpose, whether that be to strengthen my relationship with my squad, the Lord, or even just prepare me for the places I get to go!!

TYJ FOR TRAINING CAMP!!

This week we had 3 days of teaching, learning more about spiritual warfare, worldview, how we can trust the Bible, & then we had breakout sessions where I learned how to grieve with the Lord!! This week my squad also hiked mount Yonah!  We got to the top perfect timing for the sunset, set up our tents for the night, then woke up and hiked back down early the next morning!

Here at the world race training camp, we have a revival night every week, and last night was our revival night!! This is just spirit led worship for hours upon hours, and speaker comes in and gives a short message, but last night went from 7pm till about 1 am! The lord was MOVING!! 🤩

One of the most beautiful aspects of the World Race is its emphasis on flexibility and surrender. Schedules are loose and can change at a moment’s notice. This has stretched me, and it’s teaching me to trust God more! Instead of clinging to control, I’m learning to approach each day with open hands, saying, “Lord, I’m here, use me.”

In the past, I found comfort in knowing the plan beforehand and struggled when things didn’t go as expected. But through this, the Lord is refining that part of me, growing my faith, and teaching me to be present and obedient, even in the unknown!!

Tomorrow me and my squad get to do a week of domestic ministry in North Carolina working with disaster relief! We will be there for about 6 days before coming back to Gainesville, GA for a final debrief!

We leave the country for Africa, the beginning of October! (Again I don’t know what day exactly we leave the country but it should be around October 4-6ish)!

TYSM FOR LISTENING! Sorry this is so much to read but for anyone who made it this far- I love you so much!!😝  I am so happy to be living out the life God has planned for me, and I am so incredibly thankful for everyone who has made this possible!!

Okay love you bye!!!🤍⛺️🌲🩴
